Mombasa with its blend of ancient and modern buildings is claimed to be the oldest town in East Africa. A comprehensive tour of the island will include the Fort Jesus, built by the Portuguese in 1593, guarding the entrance to the old Harbour. It still stands today as a museum holding a fascinating collection of historic coastal artifacts. The tour further takes you to the old Arab town with its maze of narrow twisting alleys, displaying the beautifully carved doors, goldsmiths and curio shops, Hindu temple and finally, the Akamba Handicraft Co-operative, where over 1900 members produce a great variety of very reasonably priced wood carvings. Pick up from hotel between 07.30hrs and 08.00hrs. Drive through the countryside to Kaloleni, the market place deep in Giriama land. See flora and fauna and farmland with its houses and villages and the beautiful tropical countryside. Visit the local market in Kaloleni. There is also an opportunity to see St. Luke's hospital and the St. Johns' Girls boarding Secondary School, run by the missionary of the Anglican Church. From here, continue through Chonyi land, to a village situated in the lush coast vegetation. Visit the Primary School and meet the local medicine man. Experience life in the Giriama village and sample local brews. From here, we continue our excursion through the mango and sisal plantation on our drive to Porini village for a late African lunch and entertainment with local dancers. After lunch, return to the hotel at approximately 16.30hrs. |

Drive 125 km north of Mombasa passing through large sisal plantations. Stop on route at Gedi Ruins - and ancient Arab city in the heart of a dense forest. The tour includes a trip aboard a glass-bottomed boat to the Marine National Park where you have an ideal opportunity (depending on the tide) to snorkel. Lunch at a hotel and later visit the falconry - an exotic bird farm, before returning to your hotel. |

Boarding the Dhows commences at approximately 15.30hrs at the Kenya Marine land jetty. The evening begins with a leisurely sail into the inland waterways of Mtwapa Creek on a traditional Arabian Dhow. Experience the sun setting over the African wilderness. The cooking fires of the local villages scent the air. Capture exquisite sunset views lined with giant Baobab trees.
Relax to some soothing entertainment while taking in the breath-taking tropical scenery. As night falls, the stars begin to shine and the Dhows join together. Torches are lit up and the best of cow hide drums set the scene for spectacular Limbo and Acrobatic display, followed by an authentic African fashion show. With the night set in, a host of Maasai warriors bearing flaming torches, line the shores, chanting their welcome ritual for the arrival back at the Aquamarine restaurant.
As guests make their way ashore, into the candle-lit, open air, palm tree terrace, it is lit up to the rich sounds of our African choir. Guests then wine and dine at their leisure. Departure from Kenya Marine land is approximately at 22.30hrs. |

This tour takes you by road to Shimoni - approximately 85 miles south of the urban centers of Mombasa. At Shimoni, you board an old Arab dhow, now motorized for flexibility and sail through an enchanting seascape of islets and reefs to the marvels of the underwater world at the Kisite Marine National Park. Time means nothing here, as you float in an exotic world of marine fantasy while even the most critical gastronomic tastes will be satiated with a locally-caught seafood lunch. Return to the jetty where the bus awaits your arrival to take you back to your hotel. |

PILI-PIPA DHOW - EVENING |

The (Pilli-Pipa) dhow is more correctly referred to as an Arabia Red Sea Sambuki, built of teak. The beautiful motorized dhow is well equipped, including life jackets, inboard W.C. cushioned cun-beds, snorkeling equipment: and her fully trained crew, and marine guide and marine guide ensure her passengers every comfort. The Arab style dhow (Pilli-Pipa) departs from Shimoni jetty at 08.30hrs onwards, and returns at approximately 16.00hrs.The full day excursion provides a fascinating guided snorkeling safari in the famous Kisite Marine National Park. The park, together with surrounding islands has an extensive reef system, and is the home of crystal waters, which ensure an exciting variety of coral life, and an abundance of vibrantly colored tropical fish. This is followed by the exhilarating experience of a dhow under sail (weather permitting) on the way to Wasini Island, for a memorable seafood lunch. The al-fresco lunch is served with wine, within the grounds of a private property, on this unspoilt island. Numbers are limited, to not only maintain the private nature of the excursion, but also to minimize the intrusion on Kisite's fragile marine environment. |

Transfer from your hotel to the Tamarind jetty where the Arab dhow is anchored, ready to sail. The dhow passes the floodlit are of the Old Harbour and Tudor Creek. The chefs prepare dinner, as you enjoy the sunset and listen to the music of a live band. After a delicious meal, the anchor is dropped. Dance to the strains of the resident band, returning to the jetty for transfer back to your hotel. |

Leaving Mombasa before sunrise, drive of about 115 km's Towards Nairobi, takes you to Bachuma Gate where you enter the East section of the Tsavo National Park - Kenya's largest game sanctuary, famed for its huge herds of Elephants. It is also the home of lion, rhino, giraffe and zebra. You will see water birds at the Aruba Dam on the way to Voi Safari Lodge (for Lunch). Good photographs of a variety of animals that come to drink at the waterhole in front of the lodge may be taken. After lunch, a Game Drive, returning to Mombasa in the afternoon

Day 1
Pick up from your hotel at 08.30hrs. then drive to the Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary - a 45km drive from Mombasa. Check-in and have lunch in the camp - followed by a game drive at 14.00hrs. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive back to Mombasa, arriving before midday. |

Day 1:
Depart in the morning and drive inland to the eastern side of Tsavo National Park. Game drive in this park and visit the Aruba Dam following a network of tracks to look for and photograph the wildlife. Lunch at Voi Safari Lodge and continue to Salt Lick Lodge, a Hilton owned establishment. The lodge overlooks waterholes which, floodlit at night, can be viewed from the comfort of the rooftop terrace. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Lodge.
Day 2
Morning game viewing before and after breakfast ending at the nearby Taita Hills Lodge where you are served with a delicious buffet lunch. Return to Mombasa and transfer to your hotel. |

TSAVO EAST AND WEST PARK |

Day 1:
Drive towards Nairobi and enter the Tsavo National Park. This park is renowned for its Red Elephants, so called because of the red earth that colors their hides. Game viewing, lunch at Voi Safari Lodge. Afterwards, continue to Kilaguni/Ngulia Lodge where you spend the night.
Day 2
An early start for a game drive with spectacular views of the Hills and Mountains Game drive, lunch and later a leisurely drive back Mombasa. |

Day 1:
Departure at 05.00 hrs for Amboseli National Park situated at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive for lunch at one of the lodges. Game drive in the afternoon. Overnight at one of the lodges.
Day 2:
Game drive at dawn. On fine mornings the snow-capped Kilimanjaro makes a very photogenic background to the peacefully grazing animals. After breakfast proceed to Tsavo National Park driving through spectacular “Shetani” volcanic flow. Visit the Mzima Springs. Lunch at the Kilaguni Lodge. Return to Mombasa arriving in the evening |
