“I have watched the animal migration on TV so many times and seen them crossing the river and never had a bad feeling. This year when I was in Maasai Mara and saw a young zebra cross the river but his family still stayed on the other side. He was crying & make sounds to call his family to cross the river. After awhile he swam back. A crocodile tracked him and nearly killed him. Finally he landed, he was in shock and slid down the rocks. I thought he was dead. It was so touching and made me nearly cry. Fortunately he recovered & went up to meet his family. We all cheered & clapped our hands in the end.

Depart from Nairobi for a journey north past the rich farmlands of central Kenya arriving your base hotel in time for lunch. ABERDARES/SAMBURU
After breakfast drive further north to the semi arid area of Samburu people arriving your lodge at Samburu Game Reserve in time for lunch. After lunch go for afternoon game drive or swimming at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. |

SAMBURU
Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast.
