DAY 1

ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Morning departure from Nairobi to Tanzania crossing the border at Namanga and arriving in Mountain Village lodge in National Park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 2

 

NGORONGORO

Breakfast at the lodge and descend in the crater floor by special 4-wheel drive vehicles for a full day of game viewing. Magnificient black –manned lion, elephant buffalo and rhino all exit in greater concentration here then anywhere else in Africa. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or luxury tented camp.

DAY 3

LAKE MANYARA

Breakfast at Ngorongoro and depart for lake Manyara hotel overlooking the rift valley and the lake. Lunch at the hotel and afternoon game drive in the park a round the lake where a great variety of game land bird live including the famous tree climbing lions, are to be found.

DAY 4

AMBOSELI

After breakfast proceed to Aretha for lunch and drive on to Namanga border where your Kenyan driver will meet you. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 5

AMBOSELI

  At dawn game drive in the park, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure. Lunch and another game viewing beneath the snow capped peak of mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6

NAIROBI

Breakfast and depart for Nairobi, arriving around noon.

DAY 7

TREE HOTEL

After breakfast drive north to Nyeri for lunch at the base hotel. Special transport takes you to the world's famous tree hotel on the slopes of the Aberdare Mountains, arriving in time for tea. All nights' game viewing, from comfort of your animals   visit the waterholes and saltlicks. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.

DAY 8

SAMBURU

An early morning to the Outspan hotel for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure, Lunch at the lodge and late afternoon game viewing in the reserve noted for it's unusual reticulated Giraffe and gravy Zebra Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 9

SAMBURU

An early morning drive, returning to the lodge for breakfast rest of the morning leisure, lunch at the lodge and late afternoon game drive. Looking for Somali ostrich Oryx and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 10

LAKE NAIVASHA /LAKE NAKURU

Early breakfast and drive via Thompson falls, into the Great Rift Valley to the lake Nakuru national park. Visit to the park followed by late lunch at the lodge Dinner and overnight or continue to lake Naivasha hotel

DAY 11

MAASAI MARA

Drive along the valley, past Mt. Longonot to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch at the lodge followed by a late afternoon game viewing drive; in the reserve that adjoins Serengeti Park in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 12

MAASAI MARA

  A whole day game drive in reserve noted for it's black manned lion.

DAY 13

NAIROBI.

  Breakfast and return to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.

DAY 1

NAIROBI

 Upon arrival in Nairobi - Safari capital of the world, you will be met and chauffeured to your hotel to unwind and relax. Overnight The Stanley Hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

DAY2

 

AMBOSELI

We begin our Safari proper with a drive to Amboseli National park near Mt. Kilimanjaro , whose magnificent snow - capped peak soars to 19,340 feet. Our afternoon is spent game viewing here amid the large Elephant population, giraffe and predators, including Lions and Cheetah.

DAY 3

AMBOSELI

 We spend this day on morning and afternoon game drives watching for Elephants, Zebra and Wildebeest along the salt pan trail. Overnight at Amboseli Serena lodge.

DAY 4

LAKE NAKURU

 After breakfast we travel to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch.Spend the day exploring the amazing bird life as well as Rhino and Leopard for which lake Nakuru is internationally known. The park is also home for to a huge colony of Flamingo. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

DAY 5

MAASAI MARA

This remarkable day takes us to the land of the Maasai, a cattle herding people still proudly aloof from western civilization. Our destination, the Maasai Mara , is a magnificent park and home to Kenya's richest concentration of wildlife. On morning and afternoon game drives, we view some of Africa's largest prides of Lion, herds of Zebra, Antelope, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Giraffe and cheetah. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

LAKE VICTORIA

 Today we cross into Tanzania. Enroute enjoy a picnic lunch on the shores of Lake Victoria .Take a boat trip on the lake, a Nature or bird walk if you choose. Overnight Speke Bay Lodge.

DAY 9

SERENGETI

Our Journeys continues into the great grassland plains of Serengeti National park. During two full days of exploration in the Serengeti , we follow plains game and their attendants predators on their daily pursuit and survival and end our day with a sundowner. During morning and afternoon game drives the next day we seek herds of large animals including giraffe, Buffalo, wildebeest, Zebra and Antelope.

SERENGETI

 Same as day 9 .

DAY 11

NGORONGORO

Our destination today is Ngorongoro Crater - a huge natural amphitheater created by the collapse of an ancient Volcano. In the afternoon we look inside its wall, to see local Maasai herdsman and their cattle amid a fascinating microsome of East African Wildlife, including Buffalo, Flamingo, Prides of Lions, Eland, Elephant, Hippos and Velvet monkey. Next day we pack a picnic to enjoy a day of un interrupted exploration. Overnight Ngorongoro Serena lodge.

DAY 13

LAKE MANYARA

After breakfast we depart to Lake Manyara National park, enjoy game drive and picnic lunch in the park. Overnight Lake Manyara Serena lodge.

DAY 14

NAIROBI

Morning game drive in lake Manyara National park, later depart to Nairobi with lunch break in Arusha town. Afterwards proceed to Namanga border where after finalizing the border procedure transfer to Jomo Kenyata International Airport for your International flight.

DAY 1

LAKE NAIVASHA

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley, making a stop at the Escarpment to marvel at nature, and onwards to Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amongst wild animals. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY2

LAKE NAKURU

Depart Naivasha in the morning (with optional visit to Hell's Gate Nat. park) and drive further on floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving Sarova Lion Hill Lodge well in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at.

DAY 3

MOUNT KENYA

Depart after breakfast with a game drive en route and drive to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive Serena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch. Relax in the afternoon as you watch game from the balcony of the lodge, with an optional guided nature walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

SWEET WATERS

Depart Mountain Lodge after breakfast and drive a little further north across the equator to Sweetwaters Game Reserve , arriving Sweetwaters Tented Camp well in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary including a visit to Morani the tame rhino, the information centre and the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Weather allowing, you will take a boat ride on Ewaso Nyiro River to get better views of the chimps.
Optional night game drive . Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

DAY 5

SAMBURU

Depart Sweetwaters in the morning and drive further north to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Larsens Tented Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 6

SAMBURU

  Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Samburu village. Other optional activites include camle riding, guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at Samburu Larsens Tented Camp

DAY 7

MAASAI MARA

Morning transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight to Maasai Mara departing at 09:15hrs and arriving Mara approx 10:45hrs. On arrival meet and transfer to Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp . You will have your first game drive in this vast game reserve after lunch. Dinner and overnight at the luxury tented Camp.

DAY 8 & 9

MAASAI MARA

  Two full days in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. Morning and afternoon game drives...where you have the best opportunity of spotting the “Big Five” lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. All meals and overnight at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp .

DAY 10

AMBOSELI VIA NAIROBI

Morning transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight back to Nairobi departing approx 11:00hrs and arriving Wilson Airport approx 12:15hrs. Meet on arrival with picnic lunch boxes and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Arrive Oltukai Lodge with a game drive en route. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 11

AMBOSELI

Morning Tea/Coffee will be served before proceeding for an early morning game drive. The majestic and breathtaking Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen at this time. Return to lodge for late breakfast. DAY 12

ARUSHA

Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Namanga (Kenya/Tanzania border). Here you will change vehicle & driver/guide before proceeding to Arusha, Moivaro Lodge (15 km fron Arusha). Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight is at Moivaro Coffee Lodge.

DAY 13

LAKE MANYARA

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge collect lunch boxes and depart for morning and Afternoon game drives in Manyara National Park. The park is two thirds water, one third dry land and home to a spectacular concentration of game for such a small area. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge

SERENGETI

SERENGETI

NGORONGORO

Another morning game drive in Serengeti. After lunch at the lodge, drive to Ngorongoro Via Olduvai Gorge for a short visit of the museum. Dinner and overnight is at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

DAY 17

NGORONGORO

ARUSHA/NAIROBI

Another morning game drive in Tarangire, then depart and drive back to Arusha for lunch at Impala Hotel. After lunch transfer to Kilimnjaro Airport for schedule flight back to Nairobi arriving approx 1445hrs. Transfer to your hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport for onward flight. End of services.

THE ABERDARE

Depart Nairobi in the morning after breakfast and drive to Aberdare National Park arriving Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch. Afternoon transfer to The Ark for overnight floodlit game viewing. Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, this unique game lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of wildlife - elephant, rhino, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive bongo or giant forest hog. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel. Please note: Only overnight bags are allowed at The Ark, with the rest of your luggage being left behind at the base hotel. Approx transit time: 3½ hrs

DAY 3 & 4

SAMBURU

  Morning drive back to Aberdare Country Club after breakfast and drive further north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Second day have a full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon game drive. After breakfast depart to the floor of The Rift Valley making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 7 & 8

MAASAI MARA

 Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving Mara Simba Lodge n time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Second day spend full day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). There will also be an optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Simba Lodge

DAY 9

MAASAI MARA

This day drive further to the western end of Masai Mara to Mara River and view hippoes and crocodiles at the hippo pool. Lunch at Mara Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge

DAY 10 & 11

SERENGETI

  After Early breakfast leave for Serengeti via Sirare border town for lunch at The Mark Hotel. Drive to the Serengeti National Park with game drive enroute to Serengeti Serena Lodge arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight. Second day have a full day in Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling grasslands studded with wildlife for as far as the eye can see. DAY 12 & 13

NGORONGORO

Another morning game drive in Serengeti. Lunch will be at Serengeti Serena Lodge then depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge for a short visit of the museum. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. The second day after breakfast descend down to the crater floor for ½ day crater tour, returning to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure with optional visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Approx transit time: 3 hrs

TARANGIRE

 Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and drive to Tarangire Nat. Park arriving Tarangire Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

DAY 15

LAKE MANYARA

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara Park, a park dotted with exotic trees such as the giant fig, baobab and mahogany and famous for lions that sprawl on trees (though rare these days).. Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 16

ARUSHA

After breakfast drive to Arusha National Park. After lunch go for an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Village Lodge. Approx transit time: 4hrs

AMBOSELI

Depart Nairobi after breakfast for Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Serena Lodge in time for lunch. .The park is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. The second day early morning pre-breakfast game drive when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro, returning to Serena Lodge for late breakfast. Morning at leisure - afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge

TSAVO WEST

  After breakfast drive further south to the home of man eating lions as they were known during the construction of Kenya – Uganda railway in the early part of 20 th century. After breakfast you are transferred to JKIA airport for flight to Entebbe, met on arrival and transferred to Speke Hotel in Kampala for overnight. BB

MBARARA

  Depart in the morning and drive to Mbarara on good tarmac road. Along the way, stop at the Equator, Local Drum makers and take pictures of the Ankole Long Horned Cattle. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at Regency Lakeview Hotel Mbarara.

DAY 23

BWINDI

Depart after an early breakfast for the Mountain Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi arriving in time for lunch at the tracking base. In the afternoon, take a self guided walk around the camp along the Munyaga River before returning for sunset views across the Bwindi Forest. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp

DAY 24

BWINDI

  After breakfast, travel to the base of the mountain for a briefing before starting the gorilla trek -30 minutes to 8 hours trekking. After picnic lunches and drinks in the Bwindi Impenetrable, we return to base for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp .

DAY 25

LAKE BUNYONYI

Breakfast at Leisure, before departing for Lake Bunyonyi believed to be one of the deepest crater lakes in Africa. In the afternoon, take a canoe ride or do some Cray fishing around the evergreen islands. Meals and overnight at Nature's Prime Island .

DAY 26

KAMPALA/NAIROBI

After breakfast, depart for Kampala for lunch at the Gallery Cafe before proceeding to the airport for a late evening flight to Nairobi. On arriving Nairobi, met and transferred to Holiday Inn Nairobi for overnight, BB.
