ADVENTURE CAMPING – KENYA

Camping safaris are designed for those in search of real adventure, who enjoy the unpredictable wilderness. On safari you are meant to help with the camp chores. Your meals will be prepared by our expert safari cook over wood fires. Those who join are from all walks of life and nationalities usually between 16 and 60 years. Age however is not the criteria , all that's needed is a sense of humour, a willingness to participate and a spirit of adventure. see

Three meals per day while on safari prepared by our cooks. Both vegetarian and non- vegetarian meals are well catered for.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Sleeping bag, we have these available for hire
Personal spending money small suitcase or rucksack as storage space is limited.
Touch and insect repellent
One set of warm clothes and plenty of clothes for the hot days.
Films for the duration of the safari.
It is a good idea to obtain drinks for the consumption around the camp fire evenings. Notes Minimum 4 persons Guaranteed departures

NOMAD EXPERIENCE, TURKANA SPECIAL

DAY 1

NAIROBI- BARINGO 09:00 Hrs -

Leave Nairobi for Lake Baringo, Picnic lunch at Nakuru. On arrival at Lake Baringo on the late afternoon, set up camp. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

BARINGO/MARALAL – BARAGOI

After breakfast leave Baringo for Maralal, Picnic lunch en route. A walk after lunch through the most colourful town, before proceeding to Baragoi via Losiolo which is on the edge of the Great Rift Valley at the campsite dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

BARAGOI / LAKE TURKANA

After breakfast leave Baragoi for Lake Turkana arriving in time for lunch.

DAY 4

LAKE TURKANA

After breakfast visit the Elmolo village (extras) lunch at the campsite. After that leisurely fishing swimming if the crncodiles permit. Meals and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 5

|TURKANA/ MARALAL 09.00 Hrs –

After breakfast leave Turkana for Oaralal. Lunch enroute. Dinner and overnight at camp site.

DAY 6

DAY6 MARALAL/ SAMBURU 08.30 Hrs-

After breakfast leave Maralal for Samburu game reserve, on arrival proceed to the campsite and thereafter proceed for a late evening game drive, returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7

SAMBURU 06.30 Hrs

early morning pre-breakfast game drive. 10.00 Hrs- After breakfast further game drive lunch. 16.00 Hrs - After lunch a final game drive returning to the camp for dinner and overnight i.

DAY 8

SAMBURU MT. KENYA NAIROBI 08.00Hrs

After breakfast leave Samburu for Nanyuki (picnic lunch). Drop off clients who want to stay behind for climbing Mt. Kenya. After lunch leave for Nairobi.
