RIFT VALLEY LAKES, MASAI MARA / LAKES NAKURU BOGORIA AND BARINGO

The safari takes us south through the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara where the largest concentration of game in Kenya is to be found. Then back north to the remote lakes Bogoria and Baringo a bird watch and naturalists' paradise.

DAY 1

NAIROBI/ MAASAI MARA 09.00 Hrs.

Depart from our Nairobi office for a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch served enroute, then pass Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingsway country " Serengeti Plains". Arrive late afternoon for game drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

DAY 2

MAASAI MARA

Full day spent in search of Elephants, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plains game. All meals and overnight at the base camp.

DAY 3

MAASAI MARA

Full day is spent exploring this unique park, which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 4

MASAI MARA/ LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast leave the camp for Lake Nakuru picnic lunch enroute at the safari junction. After lunch proceed to Nakuru via Lake Elementaita stopping for panoramic and scenery viewing. You will arrive in Nakuru late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

DAY 5

NAKURU / LAKE BOGORIA 0630 Hrs

Early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru, which is known for its large variety of birds. Besides birds for which is world famous, it is possible to see other game such as water buck, Impala, Buffalo and Gazelle in the tire surrounding gardens. After lunch drive to Lake Baringo for dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 6

LAKE BARINGO/NAIROBI

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Baringo via Lake Bogoria, with picnic lunch, explore on foot this naturalist lakes and view flamingoes in their thousands. Caution must be taken while walking near the hot springs as they are super hot. Return to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon..
