ADVENTURE CAMPING – KENYA

Camping safaris are designed for those in search of real adventure, who enjoy the unpredictable wilderness. On safari you are meant to help with the camp chores. Your meals will be prepared by our expert safari cook over wood fires. Those who join are from all walks of life and nationalities usually between 16 and 60 years. Age however is not the criteria , all that's needed is a sense of humour, a willingness to participate and a spirit of adventure. see

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Transport by the safari vehicles
  • All game park entry fee
  • All camping fees
  • All camping equipment
  • Use of our two person tents, stools
  • Foam mattresses
  • Three meals per day while on safari prepared by our cooks. Both vegetarian and non- vegetarian meals are well catered for.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • Sleeping bag, we have these available for hire
  • Personal spending money small suitcase or rucksack as storage space is limited.
  • Touch and insect repellent
  • One set of warm clothes and plenty of clothes for the hot days.
  • Films for the duration of the safari.
  • It is a good idea to obtain drinks for the consumption around the camp fire evenings. Notes Minimum 4 persons Guaranteed departures

3 days

SUNDOWNER AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

DAY 1

NAIROBI/AMBOSELI 09.30Hrs.

Leave Nairobi and drive south through Maasai country and via Namanga on the Tanzanian border and to Amboseli (picnic lunch served enroute). On arrival set up camp and time permitting proceed for a short game drive, which provides a chance to see Rhino, Lion, Giraffe, Elephant and many other animals with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak providing a beautiful backdrop. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 2

AMBOSELI 06.00 Hrs

proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast proceeding for a further game drive or to a lodge for swimming or shower. Lunch at campsite. 15.30 Hrs. Proceed for a late afternoon game drive returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

AMBOSELI/NAIROBI

After breakfast leave camp for the last game drive, leave Amboseli National Park for Nairobi. Picnic lunch is served enroute. End of tour

MAASAI MARA (ONE OF SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD)

DAY 1

 

NAIROBI/ MAASAI MARA 09.00 Hrs.

Depart from our Nairobi office for a journey south along the floor of the great Rift Valley. Lunch at Narok and then climb the western wall entering Hemingway country "Serengeti plains". Arrive late afternoon in the Maasai Mara game reserve, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 2

 

MAASAI MARA

A full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renown for its great herds of plain's games, black maned lion, leopard and cheetah. It also has numerous elephants, virtually every type of animal to be found in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 3

MAASAI MARA/NAIROBI

After breakfast depart for Nairobi, enjoy a picnic enroute and arrive in Nairobi late evening 18.00 Hrs.

4 days

GAME VIEWING SAFARIS MAASAI MARA NAKURU

DAY1

NAIROBI/ MAASAI MARA 09.00 Hrs.

Leaving Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Picnic lunch enroute. On arrival at the game reserve proceed enroute to the camp in search of black maned lions, elephants, leopard cheetah, buffalo and other plain games. Proceed to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2

MAASAI MARA

Full day is spent exploring this unique park, which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight at the camp.

DAY 3

MASAI MARA/ LAKE NAKURU

Affter break go for game drive. After lunch break camp and drive to Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at campsite or budget hotel

DAY 4

NAKURU/ NAIROBI

After breakfast proceed for a game drive and depart for Nairobi after lunch arriving late in the afternoon.
